Job Standards: Copy to Global ( Utility Functions )

Step-by-step instructions :

1 . Start Copy Job Standards to Global Standards using any one (1) of the following methods:

Method 1 : Home > Utilities > Utility Functions > Copy Job to Global > Job Standards: Copy to Global . If prompted to do so, enter the " Utility Password " that has been set up for your network.

Method 2 : In Modeling (classic) or the Drawing Editor (classic), choose Utility > Copy > Copy Job Standards to Global Standards .

2 . A selection dialog opens. On it is a list of the job standard details in your current Job .

If there are no job standard details in your current Job, you will be notified of such, and this operation will end without the selection dialog being opened.

Alternative 1 : Select the names of the job standard details that you want to be copied as global standard details, then press the " OK " button at the bottom of this selection dialog. Go to step 3.

Alternative 2 : Press the " Cancel " button to end the Copy Job Standards to Global Standards operation. Do not continue.

3 . The job standard details selected in step 2 continue to exist in your Job as job standard details and copies of these same job standard details are now global standard details . This means that they can be used by any Job that you can open in your current version of this program.

Tip: Use the Project Items List utility to confirm that this change has indeed taken place.
